Abstract

An interaction point receives an interaction with a wearable device, wherein the interaction includes a data transmission between the wearable device and the first interaction point indicating that a user has interacted with the first interaction point. The interaction point locally processes the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point. Further, the interaction point provides information based on the local processing to a second interaction point.

Claims (44)

1 . An interactive attraction system, comprising:

a first interaction point configured to:

receive an interaction with a wearable device, wherein the interaction includes a data transmission between the wearable device and the first interaction point indicating that a user has interacted with the first interaction point;

locally process the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point; and

directly provide information based on the local processing from the first interaction point to a second interaction point configured to communicatively couple with the wearable device, wherein the information provided to the second interaction point is based on an indication of a subscription to the information by the second interaction point received at the first interaction point.

2 . The interactive attraction system of claim 1 , further comprising the second interaction point.

3 . The interactive attraction system of claim 2 , wherein the second interaction point is configured to transmit a subscription request associated with key acquisition data, virtual coin collection data, or wearable identifiers.

4 . The interactive attraction system of claim 2 , wherein the second interaction point is configured to:

receive the information from the first interaction point;

update a local cache associated with second interaction point with the received information; and

enable a second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point based on the local cache being updated with the received information associated with the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point.

5 . The interactive attraction system of claim 4 , wherein the second interaction point is configured to cause feedback at the wearable device based on the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point and the second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point.

6 . The interactive attraction system of claim 1 , wherein the second interaction point propagates the information to a plurality of interaction points.

7 . The interactive attraction system of claim 1 , comprising the wearable device, wherein the wearable device comprises:

a first radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag configured to communicate with the first interaction point at a first frequency range;

a second RFID tag configured to communicate with the second interaction point at a second frequency range different from the first frequency range; and

a microcontroller communicatively coupled to the first and second RFID tags and configured to identify interactions associated with the first RFID tag or the second RFID tag and provide feedback to a user based on the identified interactions.

8 . A hardware-implemented method, comprising:

receiving, at a first interaction point, an interaction with a wearable device, wherein the interaction includes a data transmission between the wearable device and the first interaction point indicating that a user has interacted with the first interaction point;

locally processing, at the first interaction point, the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point; and

directly providing, from the first interaction point, information based on the local processing from the first interaction point to a second interaction point configured to communicatively couple with the wearable device, wherein providing the information to the second interaction point is based on an indication of a subscription to the information by the second interaction point received at the first interaction point.

9 . The hardware-implemented method of claim 8 , comprising:

transmitting, via the second interaction point, a subscription request associated with key acquisition data, virtual coin collection data, or wearable identifiers.

10 . The hardware-implemented method of claim 8 , comprising:

receiving, via the second interaction point, the information from the first interaction point;

updating, via the second interaction point, a local cache associated with second interaction point with the received information; and

enabling, via the second interaction point, a second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point based on the local cache being updated with the received information associated with the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point.

11 . The hardware-implemented method of claim 10 , comprising:

causing feedback, via the second interaction point, at the wearable device based on the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point and the second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point.

12 . The hardware-implemented method of claim 8 , comprising propagating, via the second interaction point, the information to a plurality of interaction points.

13 . One or more non-transitory, computer-readable media, comprising computer-readable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to:

receive, at a first one of the one or more computers comprising a first interaction point, an interaction with a wearable device, wherein the interaction includes a data transmission between the wearable device and the first interaction point indicating that a user has interacted with the first interaction point;

locally process, at the first interaction point, the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point; and

directly providing, from the first interaction point, information based on the local processing from the first interaction point to a second one of the one or more computers comprising a second interaction point configured to communicatively couple with the wearable device, wherein providing the information to the second interaction point is based on an indication of a subscription to the information by the second interaction point received at the first interaction point.

14 . The one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media of claim 13 , comprising computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors of the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to:

transmit, via the second interaction point, a subscription request associated with key acquisition data, virtual coin collection data, or wearable identifiers.

15 . The one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media of claim 13 , comprising computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors of the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to:

receive, via the second interaction point, the information from the first interaction point;

update, via the second interaction point, a local cache associated with second interaction point with the received information; and

enable, via the second interaction point, a second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point based on the local cache being updated with the received information associated with the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point.

16 . The one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media of claim 15 , comprising computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors of the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to:

cause feedback, via the second interaction point, at the wearable device based on the interaction between the wearable device and the first interaction point and the second interaction between the wearable device and the second interaction point.

17 . The one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media of claim 16 , comprising computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors of the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to:

propagate, via the second interaction point, the information to a plurality of interaction points.
