Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting UAVs in an RF environment are disclosed. An apparatus is constructed and configured for network communication with at least one camera. The at least one camera captures images of the RF environment and transmits video data to the apparatus. The apparatus receives RF data and generates FFT data based on the RF data, identifies at least one signal based on a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data, measures a direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, analyzes the video data. The apparatus then identifies at least one UAV to which the at least one signal is related based on the analyzed video data, the RF data, and the direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, and controls the at least one camera based on the analyzed video data.

Claims (33)

1. A method for alarm management in an electromagnetic environment, comprising:

at least one server and/or at least one processor coupled with a memory receiving electromagnetic environment data;

the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory creating a baseline based on power level measurements of the electromagnetic environment data;

the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory calculating a power distribution by frequency of the electromagnetic environment data;

identifying at least one alarm situation based on at least one alarm triggering condition by comparing the power distribution to the baseline of the electromagnetic environment data; and

identifying at least one signal associated with the at least one alarm situation.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying a location of a source of the at least one signal associated with the at least one alarm situation.

3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising generating a visual representation of the location of the source of the at least one signal on a map.

4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the location of the source of the at least one signal is identified in real time based on the power level measurements of the electromagnetic environment data.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining a power, a frequency, or a bandwidth of the at least one signal.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one alarm triggering condition comprises an alarm duration, a db offset, and/or a count, wherein the alarm duration is a time window a signal needs to appear to be considered as an alarm, wherein the db offset is the db value the signal needs to be above the baseline to be considered as a potential alarm, and wherein the count is the number of times the alarm duration and the db offset need to happen before an alarm is triggered.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising a pre-built, editable manifest configuring the at least one alarm triggering condition.

8. An apparatus for alarm management in an electromagnetic environment, comprising:

at least one server and/or at least one processor coupled with a memory;

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory are operable to receive electromagnetic environment data;

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory is further operable to calculate a power distribution by frequency of the electromagnetic environment data; and

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory is configured to create a baseline based on the power distribution by frequency of the electromagnetic environment data, identify at least one alarm situation based on at least one alarm triggering condition by comparing the power distribution to the baseline of the electromagnetic environment data, and identify at least one signal in the at least one alarm situation.

9. The apparatus of claim 8 , further comprising a graphical user interface operable to configure, monitor, and manage job functions of the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled to the memory.

10. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory is further configured to identify a location of a source of the at least one signal associated with the at least one alarm situation.

11. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled to the memory is operable to generate a visual representation of the location of the source of the at least one signal on a map.

12. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the location of the source of the at least one signal is identified in real time based on the power level measurements of the electromagnetic environment data.

13. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the source of the at least one signal is a base station.

14. The apparatus of claim 8 , further comprising a pre-built, editable manifest operable to configure the at least one alarm triggering condition.

15. An apparatus for alarm management in an electromagnetic environment, comprising:

at least one server and/or at least one processor coupled with a memory;

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory are operable to receive electromagnetic environment data;

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory is further operable to calculate a power distribution by frequency of the electromagnetic environment data; and

wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled with the memory is configured to create a baseline based on the power distribution by frequency of the electromagnetic environment data, and identify at least one alarm situation based on at least one alarm triggering condition by comparing the power distribution to the baseline of the electromagnetic environment data.

16. The apparatus of claim 15 , further comprising a graphical user interface operable to configure, monitor, and manage job functions of the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled to the memory.

17. The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the at least one server and/or the at least one processor coupled to the memory is operable to generate a visual representation of locations of one or more signals causing the at least one alarm situation on a map.

18. The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the locations of one or more signals causing the at least one alarm situation is identified in real time based on the power level measurements of the electromagnetic environment data.

19. The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the at least one alarm situation is caused by a base station.

The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the at least one alarm triggering condition comprises an alarm duration, a db offset, and/or a count, wherein the alarm duration is a time window a signal needs to appear to be considered as an alarm, wherein the db offset is the db value the signal needs to be above the baseline to be considered as a potential alarm, and wherein the count is the number of times the alarm duration and the db offset need to happen before an alarm is triggered.
