Modified saponins for the treatment of fungal infections
Methods of treating a fungal infection in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject a modified saponin.
1. A method of treating a fungal infection in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula II:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
R 1 is H or OC(O)R A ;
R 2 is H or OH;
R 3 is H, C(O)OR A , CH 2 OR A , CH 2 OC(O)R A ;
R 4 and R 5 are each independently H or OC(O)R B ;
R A is H or C 1-6 alkyl;
R B is C 2-6 alkenyl; and
