2. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein the base defines a channel disposed proximate to a perimeter of the base; and wherein a weather tight seal is disposed in the channel of the base.

3. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein an o-ring provides a seal between the input receptacle and a plug connector received at the input receptacle.

4. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 3 , wherein the o-ring is disposed at the input receptacle.

5. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein the the first and second pluralities of ruggedized output receptacles are each adapted to receive an output connector.

6. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 5 , wherein the output connectors is threaded to the first sides of the first and second pluralities of ruggedized output receptacles.

7. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 5 , further comprising an o-ring disposed at an interface of the output connector and the first sides of the first and second pluralities of ruggedized output receptacles.

8. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein the input receptacle is configured to receive a multi-fiber connector.

9. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein the front side of the housing defines a transition region that extends between the first and second stepped faces, and wherein the first stepped face, the transition region, and the second stepped face are planar.

10. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 1 , wherein the front side of the housing and a back side of the base are separated from each other by a depth, and wherein the first stepped face is located closer to the back side of the base along the depth compared to the second stepped face.

11. The drop terminal mounting system of claim 10 , wherein the input receptacle is located closer than the first stepped face to the back side of the base along the depth.

12. A drop terminal arrangement comprising:

a body defining a sealed interior, the body having a depth extending between a front side and a back side, a width extending between a first side and a second side, and a length extending between a first end and a second end, the body defining an input at the first end, and the body being elongate along the length;

the front side of the body defining a first surface and a second surface, the first and second surfaces at least partially facing towards the first end of the body;

a first plurality of ruggedized output receptacles being in sealing engagement with the first surface, each of the ruggedized output receptacles of the first plurality having a first connector receiving side and a second connector receiving side, the first connector receiving side being accessible within the sealed interior, and the second connector receiving side being accessible from an exterior of the body,

wherein, for each of the ruggedized output receptacles of the first plurality, a seal is disposed at an interface of the ruggedized output receptacles and a corresponding optical connector when the ruggedized output receptacles and the corresponding optical connector are mated together;

a second plurality of ruggedized output receptacles being in sealing engagement with the second surface, each of the ruggedized output receptacles of the second plurality having a first connector receiving side and a second connector receiving side, the first connector receiving side being accessible within the sealed interior, and the second connector receiving side being accessible from an exterior of the body; and

a splitter disposed within the interior of the body.

13. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein a seal is disposed at an interface between each of the first plurality of ruggedized output receptacles and the first surface of the body.

14. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein the input includes an input receptacle configured to receive a fiber optic connector.

15. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 14 , wherein the input receptacle is configured to receive a multi-fiber connector.

16. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein the body includes a housing and wherein the input of the housing includes an input channel configured to receive an optical fiber.

17. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 16 , wherein the optical fiber is one of a plurality of optical fibers of a bundle of optical fibers received at the input channel.

18. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein the body includes a housing and a base that cooperate to define the sealed interior, the housing defining the front side of the body and the base defining the back side of the body.

19. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 18 , wherein the housing defines a majority of the first and second sides of the body and defines a majority of the first end and the second end of the housing.

20. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein the front side of the body defines a transition surface that extends between the first and second surfaces.

21. The drop terminal arrangement of claim 12 , wherein the first and second surfaces are oriented at a common angle relative to the length of the body.
