Abstract

Optionally substituted benzoimidazol-1,2-yl amides, such as compounds of Formula 1 or Formula 2, can be used to treat disorders associated with a Kv7 potassium channel activator. Compositions, medicaments, and dosage forms related to the treatment are also disclosed herein.

Claims (30)

1. A compound represented by a formula:

wherein:

D is isopropyl;

R 1 is CN; and

R 2 is H or F;

R 3 is H or F; and

R 4 is H;

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

5. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 2 is H.

6. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 2 is F.

7. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 3 is H.

8. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 3 is F.

9. A compound represented by a formula:

wherein:

D is optionally substituted cyclobutyl, isopropyl, or t-butyl;

R 1 is CN; and

R 2 is H or F;

R 3 is H or F; and

R 4 is H;

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

10. The compound of claim 9 , wherein D is optionally substituted cyclobutyl.

11. The compound of claim 9 , wherein D is optionally substituted isopropyl.

12. The compound of claim 9 , wherein D is optionally substituted t-butyl.

13. The compound of claim 9 , wherein R 2 is H.

14. The compound of claim 9 , wherein R 2 is F.

15. The compound of claim 9 , wherein R 3 is H.

16. The compound of claim 9 , wherein R 3 is F.
