Abstract

There is provided a communication apparatus including: a communication unit that performs radio communication; a control unit that controls an operation of sensing resources to be used in a communication scheme used for performing inter-device communication with other devices, in which the control unit controls to sense the resource in a predetermined minimum unit on a time axis.

Claims (46)

1. A communication apparatus configured for use in a case that a first device that is a NR communication apparatus and a second device that is an LTE communication apparatus coexist, the communication apparatus comprising:

a transceiver that performs radio communication;

a control circuit that controls an operation of sensing time-frequency resources to be used in a communication scheme for inter-device communication with the first and second devices,

wherein the transceiver uses different numerologies which correspond to different time-frequency resources with the first and second devices,

wherein the transceiver uses a first numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a first time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the first device, and uses a second numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a second time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the second device,

wherein the different numerologies are orthogonal to each other,

wherein the control circuit controls to sense the time-frequency resources on a time axis in units of symbols based on a slot format received by the transceiver, and

wherein the control circuit controls to notify of information regarding any time-frequency resource of the time-frequency resources that has been reserved, via the transceiver,

wherein the first time-frequency resource is selected from within a predetermined sensing window based on a result of a power measurement sensing performed in the predetermined sensing window in a minimum unit of a transmission resource block in a frequency axis, and

wherein the second time-frequency resource of the different numerologies is selected from within a resource selection window based on a time-frequency resource reservation status, the resource selection window following the predetermined sensing window.

2. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the slot format is notified from a base station.

3. The communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the slot format is periodically notified from the base station.

4. The communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the slot format is notified from the base station at a time point when a connection is made to a cell.

5. The communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the slot format is notified from the base station in response to a request to the base station.

6. The communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the slot format is shared with the first or second device.

7. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control circuit further controls to sense the time-frequency resources in a predetermined minimum transmittable unit on a frequency axis.

8. The communication apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the control circuit controls to perform sensing based on information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit.

9. The communication apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein the information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit is notified from the base station.

10. The communication apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit is periodically notified from the base station.

11. The communication apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit is notified from the base station at a time point when a connection is made to a cell.

12. The communication apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit is notified from the base station in response to a request to the base station.

13. The communication apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the information in the predetermined minimum transmittable unit is shared with the first or second device.

14. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the time-frequency resources of different numerologies are set orthogonally.

15. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control circuit controls to broadcast the information regarding any time-frequency resource that has been reserved, from the transceiver.

16. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control circuit controls to notify a base station as a communication partner, of the information regarding any time-frequency resource that has been reserved.

17. The communication apparatus according to claim 1 , the communication apparatus being a device provided on a mobile body.

18. The communication apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the mobile body is a vehicle.

19. A control apparatus configured for use in a case that a first device that is a NR communication apparatus and a second device that is an LTE communication apparatus coexist, the control apparatus comprising:

a transceiver that performs radio communication with a terminal device;

a control circuit that controls to notify of information to control an operation of sensing time-frequency resources from the transceiver, the time-frequency resources being used in a communication scheme used for performing inter-device communication between the terminal device and first and second devices,

wherein the terminal device and the first and second devices use different numerologies which correspond to different time-frequency resources,

wherein the transceiver uses a first numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a first time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the first device, and uses a second numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a second time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the second device,

wherein the different numerologies are orthogonal to each other,

wherein the transceiver sends a slot format to the terminal device so that the terminal device senses the time-frequency resources on a time axis in units of symbols based on the slot format, and sends information regarding any time-frequency resource of the time-frequency resources that has been reserved,

wherein the first time-frequency resource is selected from within a predetermined sensing window based on a result of a power measurement sensing performed in the predetermined sensing window in a minimum unit of a transmission resource block in a frequency axis, and

wherein the second time-frequency resource of the different numerologies is selected from within a resource selection window based on a time-frequency resource reservation status, the resource selection window following the predetermined sensing window.

20. A method performed by a communication apparatus configured for use in a case that a first device that is a NR communication apparatus and a second device that is an LTE communication apparatus coexist, the method comprising:

performing radio communication;

controlling an operation of sensing time-frequency resources to be used in a communication scheme for inter-device communication with the first and second devices,

wherein the method uses different numerologies which correspond to different time-frequency resources with the first and second devices,

wherein the method uses a first numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a first time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the first device, and uses a second numerology of the different numerologies corresponding to a second time-frequency resource of the different time-frequency resources with the second device,

wherein the different numerologies are orthogonal to each other,

wherein the method includes controlling to sense the time-frequency resources on a time axis in units of symbols based on a slot format received by the transceiver, and

wherein the method includes controlling to notify of information regarding any time-frequency resource of the time-frequency resources that has been reserved, via the transceiver,

wherein the first time-frequency resource is selected from within a predetermined sensing window based on a result of a power measurement sensing performed in the predetermined sensing window in a minimum unit of a transmission resource block in a frequency axis, and

wherein the second time-frequency resource of the different numerologies is selected from within a resource selection window based on a time-frequency resource reservation status, the resource selection window following the predetermined sensing window.
