Abstract

A blade has a flat body with a first side, a second side, an aperture extending between the first side and the second side, and an outer peripheral edge. The aperture has a central axis defining an axis of rotation. A plurality of teeth is formed along a portion of the outer peripheral edge forming a cutting edge. Each of the teeth has a tip that is a radial outermost part of the flat body in a plane defined by the tip and the central axis of the aperture. The cutting edge has a first end and a second end. The distance between each tip of the teeth increases from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end thereof. The distance between each tip and the central axis increases from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end thereof.

Claims (6)

1 . A blade, comprising:

a flat body having a first side, a second side, an aperture extending between the first side and the second side, and an outer peripheral edge, the aperture having a central axis defining an axis of rotation; and

a plurality of teeth formed along a portion of the outer peripheral edge forming a cutting edge, each of the teeth having a tip, the tip of each of the teeth being a radial outermost part of the flat body in a plane defined by the tip and the central axis of the aperture, the cutting edge having a first end and a second end, the distance between each tip of the teeth of the cutting edge increasing from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end of the cutting edge and the distance between each tip of the teeth of the cutting edge and the central axis of the aperture increasing from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end of the cutting edge.

2 . The blade of claim 1 , wherein each of the teeth is oriented toward the first end of the cutting edge.

3 . The blade of claim 2 , wherein the cutting edge forms a portion of a golden spiral.

4 . The blade of claim 1 , wherein the cutting edge forms a portion of a golden spiral.
