Athletic positioning apparatus and applications thereof
An apparatus includes a heel section, a mid-foot section, and a toe section. The heel section, the mid-foot section, and the toe section collectively have a geometric shape having a first slope of a polarity along an inner edge of the apparatus from the toe section to the heel section and a second slope of the polarity along the inner edge of the apparatus to an outer edge of the apparatus at the toe section.
1 . An athletic shoe comprises:
an upper section; and
a sole section coupled to the upper section, wherein the sole section includes:
a heel platform having a first height that is substantially uniform from an inner edge of the sole section to an outer edge of the sole section; and
a forefoot platform juxtaposed to the heel platform, wherein the forefoot platform includes, in a toe section of the forefoot platform, a first level of compression proximal to the outer edge of the shoe and a second level of compression proximal to an inner edge of the shoe, wherein the second level of compression is greater than the first level of compression, wherein, an inner edge of the forefoot platform has a first slope, wherein an outer edge of the forefoot platform has a third slope, wherein a cross section of the toe section has a second slope, wherein magnitude of the first slope is greater than magnitude of the third slope, and wherein the first slope, second slope, and third slope are with reference to a bottom of the sole section.
2 . The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the forefoot section comprises:
a mid-foot section; and
the toe section proximal to the mid-foot section.
3 . The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the forefoot platform comprises:
a resilient material of varying density to provide a compression difference between the first level of compression and the second level of compression.
4 . The athletic shoe of claim 3 , wherein the resilient material comprises one or more of:
a rubber, a gel, a foam, a synthetic material.
5 . The athletic shoe of claim 3 , wherein the forefoot section comprises:
a plurality of materials configured to provide a shape of the forefoot platform and to provide the compression difference.
6 . The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the heel platform further comprises:
a first material having a first compression factor.
7 . The athletic shoe of claim 6 further comprises:
the first compression factor is substantially similar to the first level of compression.
8 . The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the sole section comprises one or more of:
an insole;
a mid-sole; and
an out-sole.
9 . The athletic shoe of claim 1 further comprises:
the heel platform section has a first height from a front edge of the heel platform to a rear edge of the heel platform; and
the toe section having a second dimension at a front outer edge of the toe section and a third dimension at a front inner edge of the toe section, wherein the first height is greater than the second dimension, which is greater than the third dimension, and wherein the first height, second dimension, and third dimension are with respect to a bottom of the sole section.
