Claims (20)

1 . A display device comprising:

a first display area;

a second display area;

a transmission area arranged inside the second display area

a pixel circuit arranged in the first display area;

a pixel arranged in the first display area and electrically connected to the pixel circuit;

an auxiliary pixel arranged in the second display area, electrically connected to the pixel circuit, and emitting light of a same color as the pixel; and

a connection line electrically connecting the auxiliary pixel to the pixel circuit, wherein each of the pixel and the auxiliary pixel includes:

a pixel electrode;

an intermediate layer arranged on the pixel electrode and including an organic light-emitting layer;

an opposite electrode arranged on the intermediate layer; and

a functional layer including an organic material,

the functional layer includes a first opening corresponding to the transmission area, and

the opposite electrode includes a second opening corresponding to the transmission area.

2 . The display device of claim 1 , further comprising:

a component arranged in the transmission area.

3 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein the component is a sensor, a camera, a lamp, or a speaker.

4 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the function layer is arranged above or under the organic light-emitting layer.

5 . The display device of claim 4 , wherein the functional layer comprises a hole transport layer or an electron transport layer.

6 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the transmission area does not contain pixels.
