Abstract

Polypeptides and recombinant DNA molecules useful for conferring tolerance to AOPP herbicides, phenoxy acid herbicides, and pyridinyloxy acid herbicides are provided in the present invention, as well as herbicide tolerant transgenic plants, seeds, cells, and plant parts containing the recombinant DNA molecules, as well as methods of using the same.

Claims (6)

1 . A soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell comprising a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide having at least 92% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 51.

2 . The soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell of claim 1 , wherein the plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell comprises tolerance to at least one herbicide selected from the group consisting of AOPP herbicides, phenoxy acid herbicides, and pyridinyloxy acid herbicides.

3 . The soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell of claim 1 , wherein the nucleic acid sequence comprises SEQ ID NO: 58.

4 . A soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell comprising a polypeptide having at least 92% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 51.

5 . The soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell of claim 1 , wherein the polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:51.

6 . The soybean plant, seed, plant tissue, plant part, or cell of claim 4 , wherein the polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:51.
