a first light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit visible light and a second LED configured to emit one of infrared light or near-infrared light; and

one or more light sensors configured to detect one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light emitted from one or both of the first LED and the second LED, and

wherein the one or more processors are electrically coupled with the one or more components and, individually or in combination, configured to:

process data acquired from the one or more components; and

analyze the one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light to identify one or more wavelengths of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light that were absorbed by blood of the user to support measurement of a blood oxygenation level of the user.

2. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more batteries comprise at least one curved battery that extends along a curved perimeter of the external housing.

3. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , wherein the external housing comprises metallic material and the internal housing comprises one or more of metallic material or potting material.

4. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , wherein:

the external housing comprises an exterior surface, an internal surface, a first flange, and a second flange, wherein the internal surface, the first flange, and the second flange at least partially enclose an internal space of the external housing, and

the internal housing comprises a potting material that at least partially fills the internal space of the external housing.

5. The wearable ring device of claim 4 , wherein the potting material comprises epoxy.

6. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , wherein the physical movement is associated with at least one gesture of the user, and wherein:

in response to the at least one gesture, the one or more processors are individually or in combination configured to cause the wearable ring device to send a signal to cause an external device to perform one or more functions external to the wearable ring device.

7. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , further comprising:

one or more actuators positioned within the housing and configured to provide haptic or physical feedback.

8. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , further comprising:

a communication module configured to communicate with a software application executable on a mobile device, wherein the communication module comprises a Bluetooth chip.

9. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , further comprising:

a near field communication (NFC) chip configured to trigger one or more functions when the wearable ring device is detected by another NFC device external to the wearable ring device.

10. The wearable ring device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are individually or in combination configured to:

determine that the user is in a sleep state based at least in part on the data acquired from the one or more components; and

adjust one or more operational parameters of the one or more components based at least in part on the determination that the user is in the sleep state.

11. A wearable ring device configured to be worn on a finger of a user, comprising:

a housing having a width between 3 mm and 8 mm and a thickness between 1.5 mm and 3 mm, the housing comprising:

an external housing comprising an exterior surface of the wearable ring device; and

an internal housing comprising an interior surface of the wearable ring device, wherein the external housing and the internal housing are coupled together to enclose one or more batteries, a printed circuit board, one or more components, and one or more processors, wherein at least a portion of the internal housing is configured to contact the user when the wearable ring device is worn by the user,

wherein the one or more batteries are configured to fit within a curved portion of the housing,

wherein the one or more components are electrically coupled with the printed circuit board and the one or more batteries, the one or more components comprising:

an accelerometer, a gyroscope, or both, configured to detect a physical movement of the user;

a temperature sensor configured to detect a skin temperature of the user;

a first light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit visible light and a second LED configured to emit at least one of infrared light or near-infrared light; and

one or more light sensors configured to detect one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light emitted from one or both of the first LED and the second LED, and

wherein the one or more processors are electrically coupled with the one or more components and, individually or in combination, configured to:

process data acquired from the one or more components; and

analyze the one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light to identify the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light that was absorbed by blood of the user to support measurement of a blood oxygenation level of the user.

12. The wearable ring device of claim 11 , wherein the one or more batteries comprise at least one curved battery that extends along a curved perimeter of the external housing.
