System, method, and apparatus for providing optimized network resources
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing optimization of network resources. The system is operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment, analyze the electromagnetic environment, and extract environmental awareness of the electromagnetic environment. The system extracts the environmental awareness of the electromagnetic environment by including customer goals. The system is operable to use the environmental awareness with the customer goals and/or user defined policies and rules to extract actionable information to help the customer optimize the network resources.
1 . A system for spectrum utilization management in a wireless network comprising:
a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) layer in a network slice;
a wireless network resource optimization application in the MEC layer; and
a radio access network (RAN);
wherein the MEC layer is in communication with the RAN;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to receive signal data for signals represented in a vector ensemble class for each signal in a radiofrequency environment;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to analyze the signal data for possible interactions based on the center frequency and bandwidth of the signals;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to create a set by adding the possible interactions to the vector ensemble class;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to create a customer goals index vector containing binary values that represent whether or not a specific piece of the signal data is relevant to satisfying customer goals;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to combine the set with the customer goals index vector to create actionable data; and
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to optimize network resources of the wireless network based on the actionable data.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the network slice is configured to be occupied by at least two tenants.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the MEC layer is configured to provide for optimization of physical layer resources for applications based on environmental conditions.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system is configured to perform network slicing to create the network slice.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the wireless network resource optimization application utilizes a constraint vector.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a MEC host is deployed at an edge of the RAN.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the MEC layer supports cloud computing for the network slice.
8 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a virtualized interface including a management and orchestration (MANO), wherein the MANO is configured to coordinate the network resources and network services.
9 . A system for spectrum utilization management in a wireless network comprising:
a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) layer in a network slice; and
a wireless network resource optimization application in the MEC layer;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to receive signal data for signals represented in a vector ensemble class for each signal in a radiofrequency environment;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to analyze the signal data for possible interactions based on the center frequency and bandwidth of the signals;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to create a set by adding the possible interactions to the vector ensemble class;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to create a customer goals index vector containing binary values that represent whether or not a specific piece of the signal data is relevant to satisfying customer goals;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to combine the set with the customer goals index vector to create actionable data; and
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is configured to optimize network resources of the wireless network based on the actionable data.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the customer goals index vector contains binary values that represent whether or not a specific piece of the signal data is relevant to satisfying customer goals.
11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the MEC layer is configured to provide for optimization of physical layer resources for applications based on environmental conditions.
12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the wireless network resource optimization application utilizes a constraint vector.
13 . The system of claim 9 , wherein a MEC host is deployed at an edge of a radio access network (RAN).
14 . A method for spectrum utilization management in a wireless network comprising:
a wireless network resource optimization application in a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) layer in a network slice receiving signal data for signals represented in a vector ensemble class for each signal in a radiofrequency environment;
the wireless network resource optimization application analyzing the the signal data for possible interactions based on the center frequency and bandwidth of the signals; and
the wireless network resource optimization application creating a set by adding the possible interactions to the vector ensemble class;
the wireless network resource optimization application creating a customer goals index vector containing binary values that represent whether or not a specific piece of the signal data is relevant to satisfying customer goals;
the wireless network resource optimization application combining the set with the customer goals index vector to create actionable data; and
the wireless network resource optimization application optimizing network resources of the wireless network based on the actionable data.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising the MEC layer optimizing physical layer resources for applications based on environmental conditions.
16 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the wireless network resource optimization application utilizes a constraint vector.
17 . The method of claim 14 , wherein a MEC host is deployed at an edge of a radio access network (RAN).
18 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the customer goals index vector contains binary values that represent whether or not a specific piece of the signal data is relevant to satisfying customer goals.
