Abstract

A display device according to the present invention includes a display region arranged with a plurality of pixels, and a sealing layer covering the display region, wherein the sealing layer includes an insulation layer having a density pattern, the density pattern is a pattern including a low density region and a high density region, the low density region has the insulation layer with a lower density than an average density within the display region of the insulation layer, and the high density region has the insulation layer with a higher density than an average density within the display region of the insulation layer.

Claims (32)

1. A display device comprising:

a substrate having flexibility;

a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged on the substrate;

a light emitting layer provided on the pixel electrode;

a common electrode layer covering the light emitting layer;

a first inorganic insulation layer covering the common electrode layer;

an organic insulation layer stacked on the first inorganic insulation layer; and

a second inorganic insulation layer stacked on the organic insulation layer,

wherein

the plurality of pixel electrodes are arranged along a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction,

the second inorganic insulation layer has a first region and a second region,

a volume density of the second region is higher than a volume density of the first region, and

the first region and the second region are alternately arranged along the first direction.

2. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the second inorganic insulation layer is made of a silicon nitride layer.

3. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein a hydrogen content in the first region is 30 at % or more and a hydrogen content in the second region is 5 at % or more and 15 at % or less.

4. The display device according to claim 2 , wherein a width of the first region is equal to a width of the second region.

5. A display device comprising:

a substrate having flexibility;

a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged on the substrate;

a light emitting layer provided on the pixel electrode;

a common electrode layer covering the light emitting layer;

a first inorganic insulation layer covering the common electrode layer;

an organic insulation layer stacked on the first inorganic insulation layer; and

a second inorganic insulation layer stacked on the organic insulation layer,

wherein

the plurality of pixel electrodes are arranged along a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction,

the second inorganic insulation layer has a first region and a second region,

a volume density of the second region is higher than a volume density of the first region, and

a width of the first region is equal to a width of the second region.

6. The display device according to claim 5 , wherein the first region and the second region are alternately arranged along the first direction.

7. The display device according to claim 5 , wherein the second inorganic insulation layer is made of a silicon nitride layer.

8. The display device according to claim 7 , wherein a hydrogen content in the first region is 30 at % or more and a hydrogen content in the second region is 5 at % or more and 15 at % or less.
