Abstract

A speaker comprises a housing, a transducer residing inside the housing, and at least one sound guiding hole located on the housing. The transducer generates vibrations. The vibrations produce a sound wave inside the housing and cause a leaked sound wave spreading outside the housing from a portion of the housing. The at least one sound guiding hole guides the sound wave inside the housing through the at least one sound guiding hole to an outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interferes with the leaked sound wave in a target region. The interference at a specific frequency relates to a distance between the at least one sound guiding hole and the portion of the housing.

Claims (28)

1 . An earphone, comprising:

a sound production component including a housing and a transducer, the transducer residing inside the housing and being configured to generate vibrations, the vibrations producing a sound wave inside the housing; and

an ear hook, in a wearing state, the ear hook being used to place the sound production component at a position near an ear canal but not blocking the ear canal, wherein

the housing is provided with a sound outlet on an inner side surface towards the auricle for transmitting the sound wave inside the housing through the sound outlet to the ear canal and to surrounding environment, and a ratio of an area of the sound outlet to an area of the inner side surface is in a range of 0.015 to 0.25.

2 . The earphone of claim 1 , wherein the sound wave transmitted to the surrounding environment forms a leaked sound wave in a target region, and the housing is further provided with a pressure relief hole for guiding a sound wave in the target region, the guided sound wave has a phase different from a phase of the leaked sound wave, and the guided sound wave interfering with the leaked sound wave in the target region.

3 . The earphone of claim 1 , wherein, in the wearing state, the housing is at least partially inserted into a cavum concha, the sound outlet has a cross-sectional area of 2.87 mm 2 to 46.10 mm 2 , and the inner side surface has an area of 160 mm 2 to 240 mm 2 .

4 . The earphone of claim 2 , wherein a ratio of the cross-sectional area of the sound outlet to a square of a depth of the sound outlet is 10 to 300.

5 . The earphone of claim 4 , wherein the depth of the sound outlet is in a range of 0.3 mm to 3 mm.

6 . The earphone of claim 3 , wherein a distance from a center of the sound outlet to a lower side surface of the sound production component is in a range of 4.05 mm to 6.05 mm.

7 . The earphone of claim 3 , wherein a distance from a center of the sound outlet to a rear side surface of the sound production component is in a range of 8.15 mm to 12.25 mm.

8 . The earphone of claim 3 , wherein the transducer includes a magnetic circuit assembly, the magnetic circuit assembly is used to provide a magnetic field, and a distance from a center of the sound outlet to a bottom surface of the magnetic circuit assembly is in a range of 5.65 mm to 8.35 mm.

9 . The earphone of claim 8 , wherein a distance from the center of the sound outlet to a long-axis center plane of the magnetic circuit assembly is in a range of 1.45 mm to 2.15 mm.

10 . The earphone of claim 1 , wherein a distance from a center of the sound outlet to a plane in which the ear hook is located is in a range of 3 mm to 6 mm.

11 . The earphone of claim 1 , wherein a ratio of a long-axis dimension of the sound outlet to a short-axis dimension of the sound outlet is in a range of 1 to 10.

12 . The earphone of claim 1 , wherein a ratio of a long-axis dimension of the sound outlet to a short-axis dimension of the sound outlet is in a range of 2 to 4.

13 . The earphone of claim 1 , further comprising:

one or more sensors configured to detect status information of a user; and

a controller configured to cause the transducer to output sound based on the detected status information of the user.

14 . The earphone of claim 13 , wherein the one or more sensors include at least one of a locating sensor, an orientation sensor, an inertial sensor, an audio sensor, and a wireless transceiver.

15 . The earphone of claim 13 , wherein at least one of the one or more sensors is further configured to detect a point of interest (POI) that the user is proximate to or facing towards.

16 . The earphone of claim 15 , wherein to cause the transducer to output sound based on the detected status information of the user, the controller is further configured to:

determine an audio message related to the POI;

output a prompt to the user; and

cause the transducer to replay the audio message in response to the user responding to the prompt.

17 . The earphone of claim 15 , wherein the POI is a virtual audio marker with which the audio message is associated.

18 . The earphone of claim 16 , wherein the prompt includes a voice prompt via the sound outlet or a visual representation via a virtual user-interface.

19 . The earphone of claim 16 , wherein the user responds to the prompt via a virtual user-interface.

20 . The earphone of claim 17 , wherein the controller is further configured to determine, based on the detected status information of the user, whether the user is proximate to the POI or facing towards the POI.
