a filler material inside the interior cavity and coupled to the bottom portion, the filler material surrounding and engaging at least a portion of the port wall of each port inside the interior cavity;

a volume of greater than or equal to 300 cubic centimeters, and

a cover portion attached to the crown portion, the cover portion comprising a first section covering the first opening and a second section covering the second opening, each of the first section and the second section of the cover portion comprising a top layer, a middle layer, and a bottom layer,

wherein a height of the filler material at or proximate to each port wall is less than or equal to a height of the port wall,

wherein the first section of the cover portion is separate from the second section of the cover portion, and

wherein the reinforcement portion is between the first section of the cover portion and the second section of the cover portion and defines a gap in the crown portion between the first section of the cover portion and the second section of the cover portion.

2. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the reinforcement portion is recessed inward toward the interior region so that an outer surface of the cover portion is flush with an outer surface of the crown portion.

3. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the bottom layer of the cover portion is attached to the reinforcement portion.

4. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the reinforcement portion extends in a front-to-rear direction, the front-to-rear direction being substantially perpendicular to a front plane of the golf club head.

5. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the middle layer comprises a filler material that is bonded to the top layer and bonded to the bottom layer.

6. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the middle layer comprises a filler material that is injected between the top layer and the bottom layer.

7. A golf club head as defined in claim 1 , wherein the crown portion further comprises a front-side perimeter portion between the first opening and the front portion and between the second opening and the front portion.

8. A golf club head comprising:

a body portion comprising an interior cavity, a crown portion, a bottom portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a front portion, a rear portion, and an interior region;

a first opening in the crown portion, the first opening located on a toe side of the golf club head;

a second opening in the crown portion, the second opening located on a heel side of the golf club head;

a reinforcement portion formed in the crown portion, the reinforcement portion extending from the front portion to the rear portion and separating the first opening and the second opening;

a plurality of ports, each port having an opening on the bottom portion and a port wall extending into the interior cavity from the opening;

a filler material located in the interior cavity and coupled to the bottom portion, the filler material having a height extending from the bottom portion into the interior cavity and surrounding and engaging at least a portion of the port wall of each port inside the interior cavity;

a loft angle of less than or equal to 35 degrees, and

a cover portion attached to the crown portion, the cover portion comprising a first section covering the first opening, and a second section separate from the first section and covering the second opening, the cover portion configured to dampen vibration when striking a golf ball with the golf club head,

wherein the filler material comprises a plurality of holes extending through the height of the filler material,

wherein the reinforcement portion is recessed toward the interior region so that an outer surface of the cover portion is flush with an outer surface of the crown portion, and

wherein the first section of the cover portion, the second section of the cover portion, and the reinforcement portion define an outer surface of the cover portion such that the first section of the cover portion, the second section of the cover portion, and the reinforcement portion are visible to an individual at an address position.

9. A golf club head as defined in claim 8 , wherein the cover portion further comprises a top layer, a bottom layer, and a middle layer between the top layer and the bottom layer.

10. A golf club head as defined in claim 8 , wherein the cover portion further comprises a top layer, a bottom layer, and a shock absorbing middle layer between the top layer and the bottom layer.

11. A golf club head as defined in claim 8 , wherein the cover portion is a non-metal cover portion comprising:

a top layer comprising a composite material, the top layer being a structural layer;

a middle layer comprising a top surface, a bottom surface, and an elastic polymer material, the top surface of the middle layer being directly bonded to the top layer, the middle layer being a vibration-dampening layer; and

a bottom layer directly bonded to the bottom surface of the middle layer, the bottom layer comprising a composite material, the bottom layer being a structural layer.

12. A golf club head as defined in claim 8 , wherein the plurality of ports comprise a first plurality of adjacent ports and a second plurality of adjacent ports, the first plurality of adjacent ports located closer to the front portion than to the rear portion and extending between the heel portion and the toe portion, and the second plurality of adjacent ports located closer to the rear portion than to the front portion and extending between the heel portion and the toe portion.
