Abstract

The micronizing apparatus includes: a body having a transfer space where hydrogel is transferred, and a discharge space where ground hydrogel is discharged; a rotation shaft disposed in the transfer space, wherein at least one screw is formed on an outer perimeter surface of the first rotation shaft, to transfer the hydrogel along a longitudinal direction of the body; a rotor installed on the rotation shaft so as to rotate together with the rotation shaft, wherein a plurality of rotor blades and a plurality of rotor recesses are alternately formed along a circumferential direction on an outer perimeter part of the rotor; and a stator surrounding the rotor with an air gap between the rotor and the stator, which is a predetermined distance between an outside diameter of the rotor and an inside diameter of the stator, and is fixed to the body.

Claims (59)

1 . A micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer comprising:

a source of hydrogel is the super absorbent polymer;

a body having a transfer space where the hydrogel is transferred, and a discharge space where ground hydrogel is discharged;

a rotation shaft disposed in the transfer space, wherein at least one screw is formed on an outer perimeter surface of the rotation shaft, to transfer the hydrogel along a longitudinal direction of the body;

a rotor installed on the rotation shaft so as to rotate together with the rotation shaft, wherein a plurality of rotor blades and a plurality of rotor recesses are alternately formed along a circumferential direction on an outer perimeter part of the rotor; and

a stator surrounding the rotor with an air gap between the rotor and the stator, which is a predetermined distance between an outside diameter of the rotor and an inside diameter of the stator, and is fixed to the body, wherein a plurality of stator blades and a plurality of stator recesses are alternately formed along the circumferential direction;

wherein the hydrogel transferred to the rotor by the screw moves radially and outwardly by centrifugal force and passes through the rotor recesses, is cut and/or ground in the air gap between the rotor and the stator, and is discharged to the discharge space through the stator recesses,

wherein the air gap between the rotor and the stator is 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm, and

a width of each of the stator recesses is 0.2 mm to 3 mm, and

wherein the super absorbent polymer is prepared from a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1:

R 1 —COOM 1   [Chemical Formula 1]

in the Chemical Formula 1,

R 1 is a C2-5 alkyl group comprising unsaturated bond,

M 1 is a hydrogen atom, monovalent or divalent metal, an ammonium group or an organic amine salt.

2 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 1 , wherein a width of at least one of the rotor recesses is larger than a width of at least one of the stator recesses.

3 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 1 , wherein the stator blades are spaced from the body, and the discharge space is radially formed between the stator blades and the body.

4 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 1 , further comprising

an inlet formed at an upper part of the body, and connected to the transfer space, through which the hydrogel is introduced into the body; and

an outlet formed at a lower part of the body, and connected to the discharge space, through which the hydrogel is discharged from the body.

The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 4 , wherein the transfer space is formed at one side in the longitudinal direction of the body, the discharge space is formed at an opposite side in the longitudinal direction of the body, and the rotor and stator define a boundary between the transfer space and discharge space.

6 . A micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer comprising:

a source of hydrogel is the super absorbent polymer;

a body having a transfer space where the hydrogel is transferred, and a discharge space where ground hydrogel is discharged;

a rotation shaft disposed in the transfer space, wherein at least one screw is formed on an outer perimeter surface of the rotation shaft, to transfer the hydrogel along a longitudinal direction of the body;

a rotor installed on the rotation shaft so as to rotate together with the rotation shaft, wherein a plurality of rotor blades and a plurality of rotor recesses are alternately formed along a circumferential direction on an outer perimeter part of the rotor; and

a stator surrounding the rotor with an air gap between the rotor and the stator, which is a predetermined distance between an outside diameter of the rotor and an inside diameter of the stator, and is fixed to the body, wherein a plurality of stator blades and a plurality of stator recesses are alternately formed along the circumferential direction;

wherein the hydrogel transferred to the rotor by the screw moves radially and outwardly by centrifugal force and passes through the rotor recesses, is cut and/or ground in the air gap between the rotor and the stator, and is discharged to the discharge space through the stator recesses,

wherein the air gap between the rotor and the stator is smaller than a width of at least one of the stator recesses,

wherein a width of each of the stator recesses at least partially increases radial outwardly, and

wherein the super absorbent polymer is prepared from a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1:

R 1 —COOM 1   [Chemical Formula 1]

in the Chemical Formula 1,

R 1 is a C2-5 alkyl group comprising unsaturated bond,

M 1 is a hydrogen atom, monovalent or divalent metal, an ammonium group or an organic amine salt.

7 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 6 , wherein a width of at least one of the rotor recesses is larger than a width of at least one of the stator recesses.

8 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 6 , wherein the stator blades are spaced from the body, and the discharge space is radially formed between the stator blades and the body.

9 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 6 , further comprising

an inlet formed at an upper part of the body, and connected to the transfer space, through which the hydrogel is introduced into the body; and

an outlet formed at a lower part of the body, and connected to the discharge space, through which the hydrogel is discharged from the body.

10 . A micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer comprising:

a source of hydrogel is the super absorbent polymer;

a body having a transfer space where the hydrogel is transferred, and a discharge space where ground hydrogel is discharged;

a rotation shaft disposed in the transfer space, wherein at least one screw is formed on an outer perimeter surface of the rotation shaft, to transfer the hydrogel along a longitudinal direction of the body;

a rotor installed on the rotation shaft so as to rotate together with the rotation shaft, wherein a plurality of rotor blades and a plurality of rotor recesses are alternately formed along a circumferential direction on an outer perimeter part of the rotor;

a stator surrounding the rotor with an air gap between the rotor and the stator, which is a predetermined distance between an outside diameter of the rotor and an inside diameter of the stator, and is fixed to the body, wherein a plurality of stator blades and a plurality of stator recesses are alternately formed along the circumferential direction;

at least one cutter attached to the rotation shaft, located between the screw and the rotor, and rotating together with the rotation shaft; and

at least one hole plate spaced from the at least one cutter by a predetermined distance, installed in the body, and having a plurality of through holes;

wherein the hydrogel transferred to the rotor by the screw moves radially and outwardly by centrifugal force and passes through the rotor recesses, is cut and/or ground in the air gap between the rotor and the stator, and is discharged to the discharge space through the stator recesses,

wherein a diameter of the through hole is smaller than a width of at least one of the rotor recesses, and

wherein the super absorbent polymer is prepared from a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1:

R 1 —COOM 1   [Chemical Formula 1]

in the Chemical Formula 1,

R 1 is a C2-5 alkyl group comprising unsaturated bond,

M 1 is a hydrogen atom, monovalent or divalent metal, an ammonium group or an organic amine salt.

11 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 10 , wherein a width of at least one of the rotor recesses is larger than a width of at least one of the stator recesses.

12 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 10 , wherein the stator blades are spaced from the body, and the discharge space is radially formed between the stator blades and the body.

13 . The micronizing apparatus for hydrogel of super absorbent polymer according to claim 10 , further comprising

an inlet formed at an upper part of the body, and connected to the transfer space, through which the hydrogel is introduced into the body; and

an outlet formed at a lower part of the body, and connected to the discharge space, through which the hydrogel is discharged from the body.
